AV Dawson joins team at international exhibition

AV Dawson joined a delegation of Teesside businesses representing the region at an international logistics exhibition.

Tees Valley Combined Authority led a team of local businesses, including AV Dawson, to Multimodal, the international conference of the logistics industry.

Seven businesses joined the Combined Authority as part of the Tees Valley Pavilion, showing a united front and a comprehensive logistics offer for the region.

Alongside AV Dawson, the magnificent seven included Cleveland LGV Transport and Training, Evolution Forwarding, InBond, Lingfield Warehousing, LV Shipping and Redcar Bulk Terminal.

Paul Booth, Chair of Tees Valley Local Enterprise Partnership, said: “A Tees Valley Pavilion at Multimodal puts the capabilities of our region’s logistical businesses at the very heart of the event, putting the Tees Valley on the map as leaders in the sector. Supporting businesses and creating economic growth is at the very heart of what the Combined Authority does, so we are proud to be supporting great local companies to create new commercial opportunities in this vital sector.

“It is inspiring to see that so many local firms, both established and emerging, were keen to be part of our Pavilion and in doing so have taken on the role of ambassadors for the region to national and international businesses.”
